ENERGY

In the period from 1992 to 2006, Inpec Engineering GmbH acquired and implemented several energy projects with a total contract volume of approximately €180 million together with its Romanian subsidiary Inpec Engineering SRL. In conjunction with the representation rights, the main focus of the projects was on Siemens AG in Germany and Austria in the field of the transport and distribution of energy.

Furthermore, Inpec Engineering GmbH executed several energy projects for the state-controlled energy transport group TRANSELECTRICA SA and the industrial group ALRO together with its Romanian subsidiary Inpec Engineering SRL from 1992 to 2006.

Since 2011 Inpec Engineering GmbH has been providing advice to foreign companies which would like to become permanently established on the German-speaking energy market.

The basis for this is the long-standing experience of the Managing Director Teodor Garabet in the entire energy field, who avails himself of the services of other project-related consultants from case to case and organises a highly qualified team.

In this context it was possible for Inpec Engineering to acquire the first exclusive mandate of the firm Tamini Trasformatori from Italy for a large energy project at various locations in Germany.

After this successful cooperation, the Italian transformer manufacturer Getra S.p.A, as well as the Chinese transformer and substation manufacturer Shandong Power Equipment (Speco), were won as a client. The first successes were achieved for both companies in the form of prequalifications at 50 Hertz for Shandong and acquired framework agreements for Getra S.p.A with two Austrian distribution network operators. Vattenfall Hamburg gave the first turnkey order for a 45 MVA power transformer to Getra S.p.A.

In 2018, the SGB-Smit Group, a leading manufacturer of power and distribution transformers of all kinds, was gained as a mandate. In the first step, INPEC Engineering GmbH is requested to elaborate international market studies. These are the basis for the acquisition of projects in the energy sector.
